If you’ve ever fallen for a scam that promised you the riches of world then I feel for you. I have been scammed a fair amount of times myself before I found the only real way to start my online business. Lately I’ve been hearing a lot about somewhere called Empower Network and people keep asking is Empower Network a scam? So I thought I’d check it out.
Here is what I have found, and I’m afraid to say it’s not looking good…
If you are a member of the Empower Network and you have had a bad experience then continue reading, I’ll explain why. But I’ll also show you where you can get some real help, it’s the only legitimate place I’ve found that doesn’t lie to you or try tugging at your heart strings.
The Good, The Bad and The Ugly
I’m afraid to say there aren’t many good things about the Empower Network (EN), it really is a complete scam. It’s another one of those MLM or Ponzi schemes which don’t work and are borderline illegal.
But i’ll break it down for you rather than you just taking my word for it.
Pros:
- Your own Empower Network blog to promote Empower Network
Cons:
- No clear description of what their business is. You just promote Empower Network
- Very clearly a Pyramid Scheme… Can tell that from one of their homepage videos
- You have become a ruthless salesman to get people to sign up to Empower Network under your name
- SO MANY UPSELLS! Something I cannot stand!
- If you want to “succeed” then you have to pay for their $140 per month package, and then…
- You have to pay $20 per month just so you can get paid your commissions
- 1000’s of complaints all over the Internet
- Cannot get in contact with the owners for help and support
- No free trial, just a $25 upfront fee, then $25 per month
Empower Network Overview
A quick Empower Network review: You have to pay AT LEAST $25 per month ($140 per month if you want to “succeed”) to promote them in hope to sign more people up to Empower Network where you’ll then get paid a commission and also receive commissions from the people they then sign up.
So you don’t get to start a business about what you want, you have to promote Empower Network.

Now you may think “oh yeah, that’s great!” Well the person at the top of the pyramid is the person who earns the most money… Take a wild guess who that is! That’s right, the owners of the company, David Wood & David Sharpe.
Remember you still need to pay out $140 per month and then $20 per month to get paid… And that’s not even the start of it. I’ll break down all those annoying upsells later on.
Is This For Me?
Do you like tricking people into buying rubbish and telling them it’s something they really need in their lives? Do you like hard selling things to people? Are you an unethical person and only care about earning as much money as possible?
Well then, Empower Network is for you…
If you want to spend a load of money on nothing.
There are many other places out there that legitimately want to help you start out online. You don’t have to buy into this scam or any more scams if you know where to look. My #1 recommendation teaches people how to start an online business in a niche that they’re interested in.
Don’t get scammed anymore! Get REAL HELP from people who want you to succeed.
What’s Included…
Not a lot to be honest.
You get a blog which is exactly like all the other blogs they give out to people which is actually a bad thing! Google likes original and unique content and that’s what ranks high in the search engines. These blogs they give you don’t rank and never will. Empower Network cannot even rank for their own name in the search engines!
Google has deemed most of the content on their own site, the site they use to pull at people’s heart strings to convince them to sign up, as SPAM. This says a lot about their company. If you paid out for their upsell packages, all you get are more videos. Most of which are all motivational videos to try and get you to promote Empower Network more and get more people to sign up…
Because the owners get more money then!
What Get’s On My Nerves And I Find Interesting…
What I hate the most is the amount of upsells they have. At first it seems nice and cheap at $25 per month. But then you’ll find out that if you want to be really successful you have to pay for their $1000 and $3,500 “packages” to get all the really good information.
WHAT!?
From $25 per month, to one of payments of up to $3,500. That’s almost TEN YEARS MEMBERSHIP at the place I where I learned how to run an online business. Plus I got a lot more for my money, including 1 on 1 help from the owners, something that would never happen with Empower Network.
The thing I find most interesting however is the fact you cannot promote them on Facebook and YouTube. It’s considered an illegal product by Facebook and YouTube so if you tried to post anything about them on there, to try and get people to sign up, then you’ll get the videos and ads blocked. (Yes there are some on YouTube still, but they’re slowly being taken down). Does this say something to you as well?
You cannot promote on the 2 biggest social platforms because their business is considered illegal.
Yes, please sign me up to their program… <— Something only an idiot would say. I’m sure you’re not an idiot.
Getting Down To the Dollars and Cents
We finally get down to the money side of it all and this is what really upsets me. People are looking to these guys to start an business and make a decent income online. They boast about have over 155,000 members but less than 1% are making a decent income from it. Remember you need to be at the top of the pyramid to make a lot of money.
So their packages they offer, and it’s pretty complex:
Blog Beast (Empower Network v2): $25/month – This is just the fee to get an EN blog, the same as all the other members get. Remember, Google doesn’t like duplicate content. You are tied to Empower Network with this blog. You can get free blogs elsewhere and you can promote Empower Network on those, or anything else you wish to promote! Heck… Here you go, you can create a free blog right now if you wanted and you can promote anything on it, not just Empower Network.
e-wallet: $19.99/month – This is just so you can get paid. It’s insane that you have to pay a monthly fee to get paid and the reason is because no processing company with work with them because what they do is almost illegal. PayPal or other merchant accounts, like VISA and Mastercard, refuse to work with them because it’s too high risk! Again, says a lot about the company
Inner Circle: $100/month – I wouldn’t call this an “inner circle” as all you get is some more videos and audios, plus you get paid a higher commission for people you refer. Remember that you weren’t paying for a product to begin with, you’re now just paying more to promote people into the network.
Costa Rica Incentive: $500 one time payment – Again, more videos that is all about turning your business into one that would be long-term. Well, I thought that was the idea with any business? Remember all you’ll be doing is trying to get people to sign up to the Empower Network.
The $15k Formula: $1,000 one time payment – A series of more videos, 9 in total, all of which are are a couple hours in length. They go through how you can promote Empower Network online through sources like Facebook and YouTube. Do you remember what I said earlier? You’re banned from promoting on Facebook and YouTube! So it’s pretty pointless paying for these programs when their “system” is banned by 2 big companies.
This is the first time I’ve heard about a company being banned form promoting their products or services on Facebook and YouTube… Pretty crazy.
The Master’s Retreat: $3,500 one time payment – Now this is extremely ridiculous. You get 41 videos with this package, mainly motivational, which is a recording from a Master’s Retreat seminar that was held. $3,500 for a recording! Like I said earlier, that’s 10 years membership of one the top business training platforms online.
What would you rather do?
Pay $3,500 for a set of videos, or pay the same amount for 10 years of top quality training, including 50+ live training videos (more added weekly), 500+ pieces of training material, 1 on 1 support from experts, a community for support and bouncing ideas off of, plus lots more.
41 videos or a 10 years of complete training and support?
So if you wanted to get their complete package then you’ll end up spending $5000 + $140/month for it all. AND THERE IS NO PRODUCT. You’re paying an insane amount of money to get people to sign up to a pyramid scheme.
The Final Verdict
Dude’s Final Opinion: A complete scam! Not even worth a 1 star rating.
For something that isn’t really a product… It’s pretty darn expensive! All you’re doing is tricking more people into signing up so you get money, and then you don’t get money from everyone you sign up. Their upsells really frustrate me as if you wanted everything, it’s 20 TIMES more than what they advertise on the website.
They lure you in with the $25 fee and then say “actually you need to purchase X, Y and Z to make money from this.”
WHY NOT MENTION IT AT THE START!?
Let’s compare this to the training product I recommend, the only one I’ve found that doesn’t hide fees (there is only two options, free membership or premium for $49/month).

So don’t waste your money on the Empower Network scam and invest your time and effort into something that will really work and that will really get you that online business you obviously want to start.
